Every time you fill a glass from the tap, you're trusting a treatment plant you'll never see and a pipe network laid down decades before PFAS, the so-called "forever chemicals", even had a name. Boiling doesn't remove them. A jug filter barely touches them. Most Australian households doing everything right, filling the kettle, rinsing vegetables, making up baby formula, are still working with water they can't fully account for.
That's not a reason to panic. It's a reason to filter properly.
